BIRYANIbold spice, honest cooking

Basmati rice cooked one pot at a time, spices toasted whole until the whole street can smell it. This isn't rushed biryani — it's the kind worth waiting for.

Our Story

From a small kitchen to a table everyone gathers at

Warung Biryani started as a family recipe passed down through generations. We believe good biryani takes time — basmati rice soaked properly, whole spices toasted by hand, then cooked using the dum method: slow-steamed in a sealed pot until every aroma locks in.

Every plate is cooked fresh, never reheated. We deliberately limit how much we make each day so the flavor stays consistent from the first batch to the last.

"Biryani isn't just rice with meat mixed in. It's about patience — rush the fire or the timing, and you'll taste it right away." — Owner & Head Cook, Warung Biryani
